All of the above finishes are labour intensive, individually hand produced and thus will vary from piece to piece.

When considering any products from the Gascoigne Show Wood Collection please note that each frame will have a different finish, both in consistency of colour, crackle variance - which is achieved by chemical reaction, and the amount of brown patina, gold finishing etc which is added. It is not possible to make 2 identical frames as well because they are hand finished. Every effort is made to produce matching pieces within what we as industry experts consider to be an acceptable tolerance for an individual order.

Paint cracks will appear on joints when in use. This is not a fault and is normal and visible on antique furniture of this type.
