Slumberland developed the Unique Posture Springing in 1964 ,The spring system designed for sleep, this was used in all Slumberland Beds and Mattresses, and Slumberland continued to Invest in Research and Develpoment ever Since. Slumberland has been responsible for a number of firsts in the bedding industry. It was the first brand to introduce drawers into a divan base – a highly practical and universally adopted answer to bedroom storage problems.

Slumberlands Seal Bed and Mattress has Been well regarded with Gold Seal , Silver Seal and Bronze Seal now Being Pocketed Spring beds instead Of Posture Coil Spring Beds. The Posture springing system itself is made from a continuous piece of wire enabling all the springs to work in unison, this means the more weight applied to the mattress the more springs are used to balance out the support. Slumberland uses four types of posture spring system – the 2400, 2000, 1100, and 700 with the 2400 having as many as 7 times more springs than a normal mattress!
Slumberland have various collections of beds, mattresses, headboards and pillows, each with different categories to suit different people. This bed comes complete with the Sensity hypo-allergenic mattress, but has a lower pocket spring count of 2300.
