About Wade
Wade Upholstery is part of the JDP Furniture Group along with; Celebrity, Cintique, Parker + Farr, YP Furniture and sister company Wade Furniture. Established in 1921 Wade Upholstery is renowned as a manufacturer of quality hand-made furniture. The high standard of workmanship and design is just as relevant today as it was at inception and to provide for today's market Wade Upholstery has three distinct collections:
Wade Upholstery
The Wade Upholstery range is centred on the company’s reputation for quality and craftsmanship dating back more than 90 years.
Upholstered by skilled craftsman who undergo the renowned Wade four year training program and comfort is achieved through choosing the correct upholstery on top of mesh-top spring units for seat suspension. With alternative cushion fillings available and with the option of modifying dimensions the Wade Upholstery range is designed to be individual to the person who buys it.
The Frames are made onsite using renewable hardwoods where traditional craftsmanship is combined with new technology in shaping the frames which are glued, screwed and dowelled to achieve maximum strength and stability.
Wade is committed to the quality and care of their furniture upholding the hand finished craft standards of skill, artistry and craftsmanship.
Wade Select
The Wade Select range has been designed to appeal to a wider customer base whilst maintaining all of the hallmarks of the traditional Wade product.
Hand crafted with transitional styling, choose from a compact fabric range which offers flexibility and can be co-ordinated with scatter cushions. Select fabrics can be used on any of the Core range and is classified as a Grade 5 fabric.
Wade Additions
The leather Additions range from Wade has a modern style and design whilst continuing to embrace the characteristics and integrity of any product associated with the Wade brand. The Additions collection has been created to sit comfortably in all environments and allows a wider audience the opportunity to enjoy the benefits that come with traditional values. Available in a range of colours and styles the Wade Additions range represents quality and affordability.
