Titchmarsh & Goodwin insist that their timber originates from sustainable sources.
Titchmarsh & Goodwin always select standing timber from mature British woodland, mainly in East Anglia; they even manage their own woodlands at Edwardstone in Suffolk, and have developed their own tree nursery.
The company owns sawmills at the village of Witnesham, where timber is cut and air dried in the time-honoured fashion in the open, generally allowing a summer's drying for every inch of a plank's thickness.
